Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has commenced a series of strategic meetings with stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the state.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by his media aide, Sulaiman Idris, the engagements are aimed at reviewing the party’s performance and strengthening its presence in Zamfara.
Idris explained that the meetings are intended to promote strategic planning while providing a platform for discussions on key political and governance issues affecting both the PDP and the state.
The first of the meetings was held on Tuesday at the Rescue Hall, Government House, Gusau, with party stakeholders from Gummi and Maru local government areas in attendance.
“The meetings provide an opportunity for the governor to engage directly with party stakeholders on pressing political matters affecting the PDP and the state at large,” Idris said.
He disclosed that similar consultations would be held with stakeholders from all 14 local government areas in the coming weeks, enabling Governor Lawal to listen to concerns, receive advice and obtain feedback from communities across Zamfara.
Idris added that the ongoing engagements underscore the PDP’s sustained strength and influence throughout the state.
