Eccentric Services Ltd has continued its drive toward financial empowerment by educating Nigerians on how to build sustainable wealth through informed investment decisions and participation in the capital market.
The firm said it is focused on helping citizens understand the importance of financial planning, investment diversification, and wealth preservation at a time when economic uncertainty and inflation continue to affect households and businesses across the country.
Speaking at a press briefing, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, James Efe, explained that the organisation was created to bridge the knowledge gap preventing many Nigerians from accessing profitable investment opportunities.
According to him, financial illiteracy remains one of the biggest barriers to economic growth and personal financial security in Nigeria.
Efe stated that many hardworking Nigerians continue to struggle financially because they depend entirely on salaries or traditional business income without understanding how strategic investments can help them build additional streams of revenue.
He explained that his journey into investment education was inspired by personal business experiences within Nigeria’s difficult economic environment.
The investment professional revealed that he once operated a poultry business while also working as a consultant but later discovered that inflation and increasing operational expenses made it difficult to maintain profitability.
According to him, rising feed costs and weak consumer purchasing power created serious challenges for small-scale operators competing against larger businesses.
Efe noted that although the poultry business generated revenue, most of the income was consumed by operational expenses, leaving little actual profit.
During the same period, however, he observed that his investments in treasury bills and equities were producing consistent growth, encouraging him to study the financial market more seriously.
“That experience showed me that there are more efficient ways to grow wealth beyond relying completely on physical business operations,” he said.
Efe disclosed that he is currently undergoing advanced training in Wealth Management at the New York Institute of Finance as part of efforts to strengthen his expertise in global investment and wealth management practices.
The company currently offers several services including stock market training, liquidity planning, asset allocation strategies, dividend recovery, share recovery, brokerage account setup, and swing trading for fundamentally strong equities.
According to Efe, strategic asset allocation helps investors reduce exposure to financial risks while positioning them for long-term returns.
He emphasized that many Nigerians still lack understanding of how regulated financial instruments work, leading them to leave substantial funds dormant in bank accounts where inflation gradually reduces their value.
The CEO also identified distrust in the financial system as another major obstacle, explaining that previous experiences with fraudulent schemes have discouraged many Nigerians from participating in legitimate investment opportunities.
Despite these concerns, he maintained that regulated investment channels remain safe and effective when investors acquire the right knowledge and guidance.
Efe encouraged Nigerians to become more proactive about their financial future, stressing that economic realities now demand smarter and more diversified approaches to income generation.
He warned that depending solely on salaries or unstable businesses could expose individuals to serious financial vulnerability during emergencies or economic downturns.
Since beginning operations in 2024, Eccentric Services Ltd said it has trained more than 1,000 investors across Nigeria and within the diaspora community.
The company added that it has built a network of over 500 active investors while helping several high-net-worth individuals and business owners develop strategic investment plans.
In addition, the firm disclosed that it has successfully facilitated more than 50 dividend recovery and share recovery processes for clients.
Efe stressed that financial education should become a major priority for Nigerians seeking long-term economic security and independence.
He advised citizens to embrace modern investment opportunities and avoid concentrating wealth in assets that cannot easily be converted into cash during difficult periods.
According to him, wealth creation requires patience, discipline, planning, and informed decision-making.
He concluded by stating that although investment may involve certain sacrifices, refusing to invest could result in even greater financial consequences in the future.
The company reiterated its commitment to helping Nigerians understand the capital market, increase their financial knowledge, and build sustainable wealth through strategic investment decisions.
