ABUJA, Nigeria — The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the deployment list for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 prospective corps members, calling on all successful applicants to begin preparations for the Orientation Course.
The announcement was made via the scheme’s official Facebook and other social media platforms on Monday.
According to the NYSC, prospective corps members (PCMs) are expected to log in to the official NYSC portal to confirm their deployment status. In addition to their call-up letters, PCMs are also required to download, print, and sign the Addendum a mandatory document that must be submitted during registration at the Orientation Camp.
The NYSC further issued a strong advisory against night travel, urging corps members to prioritize their safety as they journey to their assigned camps. “PCMs are advised not to travel at night to the Orientation Camp,” the scheme emphasized.
In a notable development, the NYSC clarified that some PCMs posted to Lagos State will attend their Orientation Course in camps located in neighbouring states including Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun. Similarly, PCMs posted to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are to proceed to Orientation Camps in Nasarawa or Kaduna States.
“Some PCMs deployed to Lagos will have their Orientation Course in Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun Camps. Some PCMs deployed to FCT will have their Orientation Course in Nasarawa and Kaduna Camps,” the scheme stated.
The NYSC Orientation Course marks the beginning of the mandatory one-year national service for Nigerian graduates, featuring paramilitary drills, citizenship training, skills acquisition programs, and community development orientation.
As the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 corps members gear up for camp, the NYSC urged them to adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, travel advisories, and documentation requirements to ensure a smooth and successful transition into service.
